INTERNAL REGULATIONS OF YOUTH HOSTEL “VILLA MONTE MARIO”

 

Art. 1 – CONTENT

These Regulations define and discipline rapport between Youth Hostel and Guest from procedure of reception and during all stay in Youth Hostel “Villa Monte Mario”.

 

Art. 2 – PURPOSES

Youth Hostel “Villa Monte Mario” is an equipped structure, managed in not entrepreneurial way and directed to offer a resort and overnight for limited periods not larger to 60 consecutive days to young, young groups and their possible partners. In Youth Hostel “Villa Monte Mario” can be guest even other people with social, cultural, sport and religious purpose.

 

Art. 3 – GUEST RECEPTION

Guests are compelled to take a look at Regulations and price list of Youth Hostel.

The entry in Youth Hostel involves total approval and consequent observation of these Regulations, which may be integrated by Management with additional notes, for all Guests.

When Guests arrive they must come to Reception for individual registration, giving a valid document of identification.

Potential Guests without reservation may be accepted by employees of Reception subordinately to availability and to current reservations.

May not be guest in this Hostel:

  1. people devoid of valid document of identification (just underage and organized groups can be exonerated from Management, it being understood they are carried, respectively, by who exercises parental responsibility and by who is responsible of group);
  2. people in confused state of mind or, anyway, in not condition of perfect sobriety and polish;

 

Art. 4 – CODE OF CONDUCT

  1. Guests must benefit of fittings, of equipment, of rooms for common use and any other furnishing of Hostel, as well as services for energy consumption (water, heating and electricity), in maximum respect of all others Guests, using diligence of “prudent man”. Guests must integrally compensate whatever damage which they cause.
  2. Guest must take up only room and/or allotted bed and related furniture. During stay they must respect hours of Hostel and collaborate actively for the order and polish.
  3. On departure, Guests must bring back keys received on arrival and leave the room in the same state in which it was delivered, including related equipment.
  4. If Guest doesn’t free room and/or allotted bed and related furniture by 10.00 a.m. of departure day, She/He must pay following night too. Guest may benefit room or bed if She/He rents payment and it is availability.
  5. If Guest wishes to extend the stay She/He must inform staffs of Reception by 09.30 a.m. of day before of departure day initially planned, to get information about availability of rooms o beds for following days.
  6. In view of religious environment of this structure, Guest must have a respectful attitude towards all other Users, the Religious Institute and all operators. In common rooms style of clothing must be sober and decent.
  7. Management is not responsible of goods or valuables left unattended in rooms or in common rooms and of accidents or lesions caused by fault of Guest.
  8. It is strongly recommended to avoid noise that may disturb peaceful coexistence, particularly in the afternoon and evening hours. It is also requested to guest to turn off the lights and leave in order after stopping in the common

i)        It is not allowed to welcome and/or guest non-registered and/or extraneous people in rooms. It is not allowed to admission in different rooms and/or beds  which are been assigned. It is not allowed to change rooms and/or beds even temporary.

  1. Do not smoking into structure and rooms.
  2. Do not using gas, cooker, stoves, kettles, flat irons in the rooms.
  3. Parking of Guests’ cars is allowed freely and without payment, as a courtesy and in the reduced limits of its capacity, in the special outdoor spaces, with the express exclusion of any obligation or duty of custody by the Hostel which does not assume any responsibility for any damage or theft.
  4. Rooms are cleaned from Monday to Saturday.
  5. Bed sheet change is done any 5 (five) days, on request and, anyway, every change of Guest. Bath towel change is done any 2 (two) and every change of Guest.

o)       Any communications or complaints must be presented to Reception of Hostel.

  1. Phone in rooms is only for interior calls of Hostel. At first flat there is a public phone for external calls.

q)      Behaviours contrary to the law, to the Regulations or to the rules of civil life, may constitute grounds for expulsion from hostel, without prejudice to any legal actions aimed at prosecuting the violations committed in the appropriate legal offices.

  1. Guests who carries underage or organized groups are responsible, legally too, of their behaviours and of respect of rules of Hostel.
  2. It is also forbidden to:
    1. carry around pets in structure;
    2. carry out political propaganda;
  • make use of drugs of any kind, to smoke or to abuse alcohol;
  1. use improperly individual or collective furnishings, equipment and furnishings;
  2. do camping or other unauthorized activities in outdoor areas and in the garden;
  3. dig or tamper with the ground in outdoor spaces;
  • light fire in outdoor spaces;
  • damage the vegetation;
  1. wash cars or others vehicles.

 

Art.5 – HOSTEL HOURS

Hostel is open all days 24h on 24h.

Breakfast is from 7.30 a.m. to 9.30 a.m. in the restaurant local at ground floor.

The lunch, on request by 10.00 a.m., will be served on the restaurant room from 12.30 a.m. to 1.00 p.m.

The dinner, on request by 7.00 p.m., will be served on the restaurant room from 7.30 p.m. to 8.00 p.m.. Particular health reasons or food intolerances must be previously communicated to Management.

The Mass is celebrated in chapel of Hostel every morning at 7.00 a.m.

In Sunday and in public holidays the Mass is celebrated at 9.00 a.m.

 

Art.6 – HOSTEL PRICES

Prices are available at Reception, in rooms and on website www.villamontemario.com. The payment of stay must be done during check-in time; the receipt must be withdrawn at the time of payment. The amount of accommodation and additional services offered are indicated on a special table, posted at Reception and in each room.

The Hostel prices are:

  • box lunch……………………………………………………………………………………………… € 10,00.

It’s also possible to take advantage of the shuttle service upon request. For reservations and further information contact the Reception.

 

Art.7 – SAFETY AND HEALTH GUESTS CODE

For safety the keys of the rooms must be consigned at Reception every time Guests go out. At the moment of entry into Youth Hostel Guest must inform her/himself on the procedure to follow in case of emergency and prevention through the indications provided. The exit doors must be only in case of emergency.   For good working of this service Guests must report any anomaly, failure of the facilities, movement of unknown persons, as well as to facilitate staff in fulfilling their duties. Any request or relief must be addressed to Management. For needs of service, safety and maintenance, Management has a second key to each room and in case of need and urgency the Institute staff can enter the rooms, also to make a check about compliance with the rules contained in these Regulations. Therefore it is not allowed to install locks other than the existing one. In the event of illness, Management must be notified and, in agreement with the interested party, it will assess the call of health workers. On the basis of the medical findings, if the state of infirmity could harm the community, Management will dispose of the return of the Guest. In this case, the admission to Hostel will take place upon presentation of a medical certificate stating the recovery has been completed.At Reception there is a medication package for small wounds, whose custody and use are delegated to people responsible for the emergency aid. To protect the health of all Guests of Hostel, the administration of any medication (analgesics, antipyretics, etc.) is forbidden.

 

Art.8 – MONITORING OF THE SERVICE THROUGH SATISFACTION QUESTIONNAIRE

The Youth Hostel administers periodic surveys through questionnaires and/or interviews with Guests in order to monitor their degree of satisfaction with the quality of the services provided and to receive suggestions to improve the quality of these services.

 

Art. 9 – ADVERTISING OF THE REGULATIONS

These Regulations come into force on the day following the date of their approval. They are posted in Reception and in each room. On request, Guest may have a copy in paper format. They also be available for consultation at Management to anyone interested.
